The Kwara State Police Command has concluded a practical combat training programme for officers as part of efforts to strengthen operational capacity, professionalism, and overall crime-fighting effectiveness across the state.
The development was disclosed in a statement by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi.
According to the statement, the training was held at the Police Training School in Ilorin and forms part of the Inspector-General of Police’s broader capacity-building initiative aimed at developing a more professional, combat-ready, and operationally efficient police force.
