Lagos Govt Moves To Tackle Severe Water Crisis

The managing director of the Lagos Water Corporation (LWC), Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani, has assured residents of the state that the state government is making frantic efforts to tackle severe water scarcity.
Tijani stated this during a routine inspection visit to the Iju Headworks to assess the progress of the ongoing rehabilitation project and the installation of new pumping equipment.
He explained that the inspection forms part of the Corporation’s broader Lagos Water Renewal Programme aimed at revitalising critical water infrastructure, restoring production capacity, and improving potable water supply to residents across the state.
