The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Lagos Free Trade Zone Command recorded N408.87 billion in revenue in the first half of 2026, representing a 28.85 per cent increase over the corresponding period of 2025, driven by increased activities at the Lekki Deep Sea Port and the Free Trade Zones.
Speaking at the Command’s 2026 Half-Year Media Briefing in Lagos, the Customs Area Controller, Compt. Hauwa Abubakar disclosed that the Command generated N408.87 billion between January and June 2026, compared with N317.32 billion collected in the same period last year.
