Lescott Tips Arsenal To Retain Premier League Crown

Former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has backed Arsenal to retain the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners finished seven points clear of Manchester City last season to claim the championship, and Lescott believes Mikel Arteta’s side have the continuity and confidence required to successfully defend their crown.
Although he acknowledged the difficulty of winning consecutive titles, Lescott feels Arsenal have fewer obstacles ahead of them.
“It is very early [to make predictions], but you would say Arsenal,” Lescott told Mirror Football.
