The 2026/27 UEFA Nations League begins this week with a number of Europe’s biggest football countries ushering in a new era in the dugout.
Several of the continent’s most recognisable coaching names are taking charge of national teams for the first time, while others are returning to familiar international assignments .
With the 16-day international break bringing domestic football to a temporary halt, attention now turns to the Nations League and the new coaches preparing for their first competitive tests.
