The 5th Japanese Ambassador’s Karate Tournament in Abuja has suffered a one-day delay after logistics challenges and issues surrounding the use of the Velodrome at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium forced organisers to adjust the competition schedule.
The championship, which was originally scheduled to officially begin on Thursday, August 20, will now get underway on Friday, August 21, 2026, according to the Technical Director of the Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN), Mr Dave Jegede.
