Makinde sacks Women Affairs’ Commissioner

Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has sacked the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Mrs Toyin Balogun. This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan by the Special Adviser to the Governor, Dr Suleimon Olanrewaju. According to the statement, the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative, Alhaja Fausat Sanni, has been redeployed to replace Balogun at the Ministry of Women Affairs, with immediate effect.
