The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has called on the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race over revelations surrounding a $500,000 payment to his former wife during the controversy over the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project.
The APC Campaign Council made the call in a statement issued on Friday by its spokesman, Dele Alake, following the conclusion of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration proceedings in Paris involving Sunrise Power and Transmission Company Limited and the Federal Government over the 3,960-megawatt Mambilla project in Taraba State.
