Manchester United are poised to appoint former Hearts head coach Eva Olid as the new manager of their women’s team following the departure of Marc Skinner.
The 40-year-old Spaniard is expected to meet the squad on Wednesday as preparations continue for the new Women’s Super League (WSL) season.
Olid arrives after a successful spell with Scottish side Hearts, where she guided the club to their first-ever Scottish Women’s Premier League title last season, finishing two points clear of Rangers.
She also led Hearts to their maiden domestic cup final in 2024, although they were beaten by Rangers in the Scottish Cup final.
