The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) has warned that Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) could risk prosecution for purchasing vehicles from suppliers that have not complied with the Federal Government’s local automotive assembly policy.
The warning came at a joint press conference by the BPP and the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) in Abuja, on Friday, on the implementation of the Nigeria First Policy, aimed at boosting domestic vehicle assembly, creating jobs and conserving foreign exchange.
