NAF airlifts electoral materials for Ekiti governorship, by-elections nationwide

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully airlifted sensitive electoral materials ahead of the 2026 Ekiti State governorship election and several senatorial and federal constituency by-elections scheduled for June 20, 2026.
The exercise was carried out between June 15 and 16, 2026, at the request of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as part of preparations to ensure the secure and timely distribution of election materials across the country.
Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said the operation reflects the NAF’s continued support for democratic governance through Aid to Civil Authority operations. ...
