The campaign organisation of former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, has rejected claims that the former police chief lacks a political platform to contest the 2027 Nasarawa State governorship election.
The organisation was reacting to comments by the Nasarawa State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Aliyu Bello, who reportedly questioned Adamu’s platform for the contest.
In a statement on Friday signed by its Director of Media and Strategic Communications, Otaru Douglas, the campaign described Bello’s position as “false, laughable and born out of panic.”
