Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule, has disclosed that the state’s monthly allocation from the Federation Account has risen to between N14 and N16 billion, up from an average of N3.8 billion to N4.5 billion before 2023.
The governor attributed the over 300 percent increase to the economic reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange rate.
Governor Sule disclosed this on Saturday at the Government House, Lafia, while hosting members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Presidential Media Team led by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Chief Bayo Onanuga.
