NASS primaries: APC electoral panel begins process in Bayelsa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced the process of selecting candidates for the House of Representatives and Senate seats in Bayelsa State through direct primaries.
Solomon Ogba, chairman of the APC National Assembly Electoral Panel for the state, announced this during a press briefing on Saturday.
Ogba said the panel and its members have arrived in the state and are ready to oversee a credible exercise.
He disclosed that the party was relying on Section 84(2) of the Electoral Act for the direct primaries.
