NBBF/Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League: Naira rain for MFM, Elephant Girls, Customs at finale in Lagos

It was naira rain for winners of the 2026 NBBF/Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League with the winners going home with prize money of N7.5m with the second and third place finisher winning N5m and N3m respectively for their efforts.
Speaking at the final, The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Plc, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, OON, ably represented by one of the Executive Directors of the financial institution, Adamu Lawani, described all the teams as winners while reiterating the organisations’ commitment to the development of women basketball in the country after doing so for 20 years.
