Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi is expected to remain at Besiktas for the 2026/27 season, putting an end to weeks of transfer rumors linking the midfielder with a move away from the Turkish club, according to sources close to the player.
The 29-year-old, who joined Besiktas last year following a nine-year stint at Leicester City, has made 31 appearances across all competitions, including 25 in the Super Lig, and has captained the side on multiple occasions.
Uncertainty over Ndidi’s future arose after head coach Sergen Yalcin’s departure and Vincenzo Italiano’s arrival, but Footy-Africa reports that Ndidi has no intention of forcing an exit.
