Rapper Nicki Minaj has praised US President Donald Trump, saying he has changed the mood in the country, as she joined him at a rally in Michigan to drum up support for Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections.
Speaking at the rally in Port Huron on Sunday, Minaj said Trump had given Americans “a future to look forward to” and urged voters to support Republican candidates.
According to the BBC, the rapper expressed support for the president while addressing attendees at the campaign event.
“We really need all these great people to be elected, because this is a major turning point for our country,” she said.
