The Niger Delta oil-producing states and their local governments have received an estimated $160 billion in federal allocations and other development resources over the past 27 years, without commensurate development outcomes, Chairman of Access Bank Holdings, Mr Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, has said.
Aig-Imoukhuede disclosed this on Tuesday while delivering the keynote address at the ongoing 2026 Niger Delta Economic and Investment Summit in Port Harcourt.
