The Niger State government has allocated 1,000 hectares of land at the economic zone in Diko, Gurara LGA of the state for the establishment of a 100-megawatt electric power generation company.
Diko, though in Gurara LGA, is a suburb of Sulieja, a few kilometres from the FCT, with the potential of leveraging on the proximity to the nation’s capital for an industrial hub based on the masterplan.
