‘Nigeria is used as health insurance for worn-out presidents’ — Sowore

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, has criticised the reception for President Bola Tinubu after his return to Nigeria following about a month abroad.
Sowore reacted in a post on X while sharing a video of Tinubu being welcomed at the airport.
He alleged that Nigeria had repeatedly been used as “health insurance” for presidents whom he described as “sickly and worn-out.”
“We’ve been here before: Nigeria is repeatedly used as health insurance for sickly and worn-out presidents, who are then packaged and presented to the public in staged airport ceremonies while the same failed performances are repeated and the country is further destroyed,”...
