Nigeria and Netherlands have secured a fresh trade facilitation deal.
This comes as Nigeria Customs and its counterpart in the Kingdom of the Netherlands agreed to facilitate trade, boost border security, build capacity, and fight against transnational organised crime.
In a statement by customs’ spokesperson, Abdullahi Maiwada, the collaboration was reached on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, in Brussels by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, and the Director-General of Netherlands Customs, Mrs Nanette van Schelven.
