The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP) to tackle food insecurity, improve humanitarian response and promote sustainable development across the country.
The development was disclosed in a statement posted on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ official Facebook page on Thursday.
The statement, which was signed by Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and the WFP Country Representative in Nigeria, Ms Katrien Ghoos.
