Nigeria Will Collapse If Nothing Changes, Utomi Warns

Professor of Political Economy, Patrick Utomi has warned that Nigeria will collapse if nothing changes in the way its institutions are handled.

Utomi gave the warning in Enugu on Thursday on the occasion of the 22nd All Nigeria Editors Conference with the theme ‘The Ballot And The Task Of Keeping Democracy Alive”.

He noted that he has passionately researched and written about institutions and economic performance, adding that it was possible to tell countries that fail from countries that succeed by essentially looking at their institutions.
