Nigeria’s Digital Postcode To End Vague Addressing, Strengthen Security – Minister

Stakeholders from government institutions, security agencies, emergency response organisations, postal services, the technology ecosystem and development partners have converged in Abuja for the National Digital Alphanumeric Postcode System Workshop aimed at advancing the implementation of Nigeria’s digital addressing framework.
At the workshop, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani, said the newly launched National Digital Alphanumeric Postcode System will revolutionise commerce, strengthen national security and improve emergency response by enabling every building in Nigeria to have a unique digital address.
