Former Edo State governor and senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has defended the ongoing probe of the audited accounts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, insisting that the Senate Committee on Public Accounts must investigate issues raised in the company’s financial reports.
Oshiomhole also dismissed suggestions that his actions as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts (PAC) have become a burden to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
