Nobody twisted your message, Onanuga replies Obi; calls for death penalty for counterfeiters

Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, has challenged the presidential candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi, over his claim that political opponents twisted his comments about Nigerians in the diaspora.


Onanuga also called for the death penalty for counterfeiters following the discovery of a suspected counterfeit alcoholic drinks production facility in Aba, Abia State.


In a post on his X platform, Onanuga described Obi’s clarification as a reaffirmation of his earlier remarks, insisting that nobody had misrepresented his message.
