NRS disowns fake recruitment notice circulating online

The Nigeria Revenue Service, NRS, has disowned a recruitment notice circulating online in the name of its former identity, the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS.
In a public notice titled “Fraudulent Recruitment Notice” posted on its official X account on Monday, the NRS said it had been alerted to a notice headlined “Federal Inland Revenue Service – FIRS Job Vacancy – Replacement”, which is being circulated on social media and other platforms.
The Service said the notice was fraudulent and did not originate from the NRS.
“The NRS wishes to state categorically that the notice is fraudulent and did not emanate from the Nigeria Revenue Service,” it stated.
