The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has criticised the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over his reported claim that he won the 2023 presidential election despite saying he had no evidence to support it.
The council described the claim as a “troubling display of delusion”, accusing Obi of disregarding facts in his continued remarks about the election outcome.
In a statement issued on Friday, the council’s spokesman, Dele Alake, faulted remarks attributed to Obi during a recent interview with the BBC.
