The governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has commended the management of Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO), as well as the Nigerian Navy, for realising the design and fabrication of SSV-KALI 3, a next-generation security support vessel in the state.
The vessel, which was inducted into the Nigerian waterways at the Yade Barge, Niger River Bank, Asemoku Jetty, in Okpai, Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, in a ceremony witnessed by the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, was built locally within the state.
