Oboro community denies abduction allegation, says three youths were arrested over alleged trespass

BURUTU – The leadership of Oboro community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has denied allegations that its members abducted youths from neighbouring Alagbabiri community in Ughelli South Local Government Area, describing the claim as false and misleading.
The community said the three persons allegedly taken to its area were apprehended on August 3, 2026, while allegedly trespassing on Oboro farmland and taking agricultural produce, including palm fruits and cassava, as well as fish.
