OGFZA positions Free Zones as drivers of blue economy, energy exports

The Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA) has said Special Economic Zones are playing an increasingly important role in driving Nigeria’s blue economy by attracting investments, boosting energy exports, strengthening maritime logistics and accelerating industrial growth.
The Authority said the country’s oil and gas free zones have grown beyond serving as investment destinations and are now emerging as strategic economic hubs supporting energy security, export expansion and economic diversification.
