Ogun NDLEA arrests 306 drug offenders, prosecute 64, dismantles meth lab in five months

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Ogun State Command, says it has arrested no fewer than 306 suspects and prosecuted 64 for various drug-related offences from January to May 2026.
The suspects arrested include 272 males and 34 females.
The State Commander, Tijjani Rabe, disclosed this on Thursday at a press briefing held to commemorate the 2026 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
DAILY POST reports that the year’s celebration is themed “The World Drug Problem: Persistent Issues, New Challenges, Innovative Responses.”
Speaking to newsmen, the Commander of Narcotics noted that the year’s theme speaks directly to the reality in Ogun State.
