Olowolafe Urges Huge Investment On Open, Distance Learning

The new Pro-Chancellor of Miva open university, Dr. Tunji Olowolafe has strongly advocated for the democratisation of education in the country ,saying suck will make education more accessible to Nigerians.
Dr Olowolafe decried the age long erroneous notion that view open and distance learning  as a second-choice option created for those unable to gain admission into higher institutions through conventional means.
He stated these while delivering his speech at the maiden convocation ceremony of Miva Open University and his investiture as Pro-Chancellor, held at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, Iganmu, Lagos.
