Onaiyekan on Tinubu: Catholic bishop not afraid to speak truth to power – Aisha Yesufu

Activist politician, Aisha Yesufu, on Sunday declared that the Archbishop Emeritus of Catholic Diocese of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, is never afraid to speak truth to those in power.
Yesufu said Onaiyekan is one of the few religious leaders that is standing with Nigerians.
Posting on X, the activist wrote: “John Cardinal Onaiyekan is one of the few Nigerian religious leaders that stands with the people and never afraid to say truth to power.”
Her comment comes amid the close fire between Onaiyekan and the Presidency over the Cardinal’s latest comment after visiting President Bola Tinubu.
