One dead, three injured as cement truck crashes in Ogun

One person has been confirmed dead while three others sustained injuries after a cement-laden trailer crashed at Mile 6, Ajebo Road, in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State. The accident occurred on Wednesday at about 11:30 a.m. in Agbedejobi village. The spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident in a statement, disclosing that the trailer suffered brake failure while descending a bridge and lost control while attempting to avoid a vehicle in front of it.
