‘Operate within the law’ – SSG counsels Kaduna Governing Boards

The Secretary to Kaduna State Government, Dr AbdulKadir Mu’azu Meyere has advised members of Governing Boards and Councils, to acquaint themselves thoroughly with the laws establishing their institutions and operate strictly within them.
Dr Meyere pointed out that a Board or Council provides policy direction and oversight, while day-to-day administration remains the responsibility of the management.
The Secretary to the Government who gave this advice at the inauguration of Governing Boards and Councils of Kaduna State Agencies and institutions, told them that ‘’respect for that distinction is the surest guarantee of a harmonious tenure. ‘’
