Osun 2026 Election: INEC Declares Governor Adeleke Winner With 511,067 Votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the Accord (A) Party, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, as the winner of the Osun governorship election conducted on August 15, 2026.
Announcing the result at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osogbo on Sunday, the Returning Officer for the governorship election, Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwale, said Adeleke scored 511,067 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, who polled 444,815 votes.
