ABUJA — The Accord Party, on Friday, demanded the immediate resignation of the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, accusing the anti-graft agency of partisanship and interference in the August 15 governorship election in Osun State.
The party said the demand followed the EFCC’s now-reversed freezing of the Osun State Government’s bank account, which it described as the latest in a series of actions that had heightened fears of institutional interference in the state’s electoral process.
