Journalists covering the ongoing Osun governorship election were attacked by hoodlums who stormed the polling unit of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Dr Najeem Salaam, in Ejigbo Local Government Area.
The incident occurred at Polling Unit 4, Ward 4, where voting was reportedly disrupted after the hoodlums arrived at the polling unit.
The ADC candidate was said to have been whisked away from the scene by supporters and others to prevent the situation from escalating.
However, journalists who arrived at the polling unit to cover the incident were allegedly attacked by the hoodlums.
