Voting was disrupted in Modakeke Ward 10, Osun State, on Saturday after persons suspected to be policemen allegedly seized election materials and dispersed voters and officials.
The incident reportedly occurred after voting activities had commenced peacefully at the polling area, according to an eyewitness who spoke about the development.
The witness alleged that the suspected policemen arrived at the area, took away the election materials and subsequently released what was described as tear gas, forcing those present to flee.
