Osun police arrest three over alleged assassination attempt on APC campaign DG

• Warns police on roadblocks against extortion

The Osun State Police Command yesterday said it had arrested three suspects over an alleged assassination attempt on Hon. Wole Oke, the campaign Director-General for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship election.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Gotan, said investigations were still ongoing and that anyone found culpable would face the full weight of the law.
The suspects arrested are Olamilekan Oriyomi (24), Ayotunde Ikupolati Ojo (44) and Fakinleye Femi (31).
