Otu condemns attack on Obi’s convoy, orders arrests

Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, has condemned the attack on the convoy of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, in Calabar, directing security agencies to identify and arrest those responsible.

The governor, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Linus Obogo, expressed sadness over the incident, which occurred on Wednesday during Obi’s campaign visit to the state capital.

He also extended his sympathy to the former Anambra State governor and members of his entourage.
