The Nigerian Army on Sunday disclosed that one of its social media platforms, X, formerly known as Twitter, which had technical glitches, has now been restored, and regular updates have commenced. Colonel Appolonia Anele, Acting Director, Army Public Relations, in a statement on Sunday, said this followed efforts to resolve the unauthorised access reported on 29 August 2026. It said the account is now secured, with administrative control fully reinstated, paving the way for the resumption of regular updates on the Nigerian Army’s activities, operations, achievements and institutional developments.
