Oyo APC must reconcile differences or risk another defeat, Olowofela warns

Former Federal Character Commissioner representing Oyo State, Prof. Adeniyi Olowofela, has cautioned the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state against internal divisions, warning that the party could suffer another electoral defeat in 2027 if aggrieved members fail to reconcile and unite behind its governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli.
Olowofela, who is also a former Oyo State Commissioner for Education, gave the warning in an opinion article in which he stressed that party unity, rather than individual ambition, would determine the APC’s chances of returning to power after years in opposition.
