Oyo Approves Bursary Award For Final Year Students, Extends Scheme To Colleges Of Education

Oyo State government has approved the commencement of online registration for the 2025/2026 General Bursary Awards for final-year students of Oyo State origin in public higher institutions of learning across Nigeria.

The Secretary, Oyo State Scholarship Board, Mr. Niyi Akinyanju, who disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in his office on Monday, said that, in a significant expansion of the state’s student-support programme, the Government had also approved the inclusion of final-year students of Colleges of Education in the General Bursary Awards scheme.
