Pa Fasoranti Earned Respect Of People Across Political Divides, Generations – Fayemi

A former Ekiti State governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has described the late leader of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, as a principled statesman whose integrity, wisdom and leadership earned him respect across political divides and generations.
Fayemi, a former chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), said Fasoranti’s death was a significant loss to the Yoruba nation, Nigeria’s progressive political tradition and the wider Nigerian community.
In a condolence statement personally signed by him, Fayemi described the late elder statesman as his former school principal, mentor and father figure whose influence helped shape his outlook on leadership and public service.
