The Presidency, on Wednesday, dismissed comparisons between former Anambra State governor and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and President Bola Tinubu, insisting that Obi’s record in office fell far short of that of the incumbent Nigerian leader.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on his X handle, described Obi as a “copy-and-paste politician” who lacked original thinking.
According to Onanuga, Obi left no remarkable legacy after serving as governor of Anambra State for eight years, adding that his successor, Willie Obiano, had allegedly accused him of failing in the area of security.
