Police Arrest 3 Suspected Cultists For Alleged Abduction, Murder Of Kwara Poly Student

Kwara State Police Command has nabbed  three suspected members of  Eiye Confraternity for their alleged involvement in the abduction and murder of a student of Kwara State Polytechnic, Sodiq Olaniyi.
LEADERSHIP Friday reports that Olaniyi, an indigene of Oyo State, had been missing since 4th June, 2026.
The arrest of the suspects was effected by the operatives of the Command’s Violent Crimes Response Unit (VCRU) after a thorough investigation they conducted.
The spokesperson of the police command, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, disclosed the arrest of the suspected cultists in a statement yesterday.
She said they admitted to abducting and subsequently killing Olaniyi.
