Police arrest 60-year-old man for def!ling 9-year-old girl in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 60-year-old man for def!ling a 9-year-old girl in Toro Local Government Area othe state. The spokesperson for the command, SP Nafiu Habib, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, 14th May, 2026 said the case was reported at the police by the victim's father. According to the PPRO, the complainant alleged that his daughter was lured into a hideout and r@ped by the suspect on May 7, 2026.  Detectives attached to the division swiftly arrested the suspect following the complaint. The suspect voluntarily confessed to the offence during interrogation and further admitted to committing similar acts against the victim on several occasions at d...
