Police Arrest Man For Stabbing Wife In Adamawa

Adamawa State Police Command has arrested one Balamau Lardi, 49 years old, of Kurnyi Tudu Village, Kurnyi District, Guyuk local government area, for allegedly stabbing his wife with a knife.
The incident occurred on September 23, 2026, following a report received from the District Head and Village Head of Kurnyi, that the suspect stabbed his wife, one Biyagwal Balamau, 37 years old, on the left side of her ribs, resulting in grievous injury.
Upon receipt of the report, operatives attached to Guyuk Divisional Police Headquarters promptly mobilised to the scene, rescued the victim and arrested the suspect.
